This September IBP will be working with local hosts in California and Tennessee to offer advanced banding classes which focus on molts and plumages. The classes will be held at the Southern Sierra Research Station and at the Tennessee River Gorge Trust Bird Observatory. Both classes are located in beautiful locations and will allow you to concentrate on molt and plumage questions you have accumulated through the years and during the summer season.
The Southern Sierra Research Station (http://www.southernsierraresearch.org/) class will be held in south central California, in the foothills of the Sierras and is scheduled for September 10-14, 2018. Please contact Michelle Johnson (email: email@example.com, phone: 760-378-3345) at the Southern Sierra Research Station for more information or how to register.
The Tennessee River Gorge Trust Bird Observatory (http://www.trgt.org/birdlab/) class will be held just out of Chattanooga, Tennessee, along the Tennessee River Gorge and is scheduled for September 27-30, 2018. Please contact Eliot Berz (email: firstname.lastname@example.org,phone: 423-266-0314), or see the banding class registration page (http://www.trgt.org/bird-banding-courses) on the Tennessee River Gorge Trust website for more information about the class, including how to register.
I hope that you, or your friends, can join us for these classes. Please pass this message on to anyone you think might be interested in participating in one of these classes.
