Banding Classes
Maine - Advanced: July 10-14 - Beginner: July 15 - 21, 2018

Hello Banders (or Banders to be),

For several years we have worked with the Hurricane Island Foundation to offer banding classes on Hurricane Island off the coast of Maine. This summer we will be again offering courses in this gorgeous location.

Two banding classes will be held on Hurricane Island Center for Science and Leadership (http://www.hurricaneisland.net/) off the coast of central Maine. The Advanced class will be held July 10-14, 2018 and the Beginner class will be held July 15-21, 2018. Please contact the class host, Phoebe Jekielek, (email: phoebe@hurricaneisland.net, phone: 207-867-6050), or see the banding class registration page (http://www.hurricaneisland.net/bird-banding/) on Hurricane Island's website for more information about the class, including how to register. Additional information is also available on their class information page (http://birdpop.org/docs/misc/ME_Bird_Banding_info_Sheet_2018.pdf).

Students have raved about all they have learned and how special it was to have a class in this secluded sanctuary. I hope that you, or your friends, can join us for this class. Please pass this message on to anyone you think might be interested in participating in one of these classes.

Happy Banding!
Danielle Kaschube
