Summer Bird Banding classes - Register soon! - Minnesota - June 13-17, 2017

...and in the East: Maine in July AND Virginia in September - see below

The Institute for Bird Populations is partnering with several host organizations across the country to hold both beginner and advanced banding classes.

Two banding classes will be held at the Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center in northeastern Minnesota. The Advanced class will be held June 13-17, 2017 and the Beginner class will be held June 18-25, 2017. Two banding classes will be held on Hurricane Island off the coast of central Maine. The Advanced class will be held July 12-15, 2017 and the Beginner class will be held July 16-22, 2017. An Advanced banding class will be held at Environmental Studies on the Piedmont (http://www.envstudies.org/) near Warrenton, Virginia from September 10-14, 2017. Please contact Environmental Studies (email:twood@gmu.edu) for more information about the class and information on how to register.

Past participants have raved about the beautiful scenery and accommodations at all of these locations as well as all they have learned during the classes. We hope to see you there!
